New Castle (Furchtenberg)
The ruins of Nový hrad rise above the valley of the Morava River. Its origins date back to the first third of the 14th century. It was originally a small castle, called Furchtenberg. It gradually underwent several construction modifications, which turned it into a massive and enormous castle. During the Hussite wars, it served as a stronghold for King Sigismund's troops.
