Novozámecký pond in danger

Novozámecký rybník is - but today we have to use the word "was" - an unmissable body of water that attracted everyone who drove along road no. 9 from Česká Lípa towards Litoměřice, or to Jestřebí and beyond. On the edge of the village of Zahrádky, before entering the intersection, we could admire a large pond, the water surface of which reached dimensions of over 42 hectares.
