Traditional New Year's hike to Studený vrch (660m) in Brdy na Hřebeny.
As is customary on New Year's Day, there is a hike to the highest peak of the Brdy Ridges, Studený vrch (660m) (Písky Hill, 690m, according to geomorphologists, is no longer in the Brdy Ridges, but in the Brdy proper). We can recommend the route from Hostomice pod Brdy (it is approx. 15 km there and back from the ČD station), 1,5 km less from the square. From Hostomické náměstí...
