New Town in Moravia - Horácké Museum

The first museum in the city was established in 1892. Since 1906, it bears the current name. Due to the growth of the collection fund, the museum was later moved to the so-called old Town Hall on the square, which has stood here since 1555. In the 18th century, the building was remodeled in the Baroque style and raised by one floor. Since 1938, the front facade has been decorated with sgraffito by the local painter Karel Němec.
