Nosislavská zátočina - a natural monument

The natural double meander of the Svratka River is the last unregulated part of this stream south of Brno with rich riparian vegetation on its 25th river kilometer. The long struggle of local conservationists was successfully completed in 1991, when the morphologically most significant and best-preserved part of this stream with an area of 4,55 ha was declared a natural monument.
