Almost everyone knows the landmark of Hradec Králové, the White Tower, either from visiting the city or at least from photographs. Many of you climbed onto its walkway and admired the views of the Salon of the Republic, as Hradec Králové used to be called, and still is. As locals, we have climbed the White Tower, originally a guard and fire tower from the end of the 16th century, countless times, but never at night.
