Six hectares, but still beautiful and picturesque. The tiny ZOO, which prides itself on long-term breeding of grizzly bears, is only about seven hundred meters from the center of Děčín. It includes the Paradise Islands exhibit, where you can see what animals are at home in Haiti or Fiji. You can see the fiery lionfish or the Cuban iguana. Less than four hundred animals are represented here, for example, Carpathian wolves, hyenas, griffon vultures and raccoons.

Jihlava Zoo

It was founded in 1957, but it received the status of ZOO a quarter of a century later. Nine hectares and seven hundred different animals, these are the numbers documenting the zoo in Jihlava. The breeding is mainly dominated by felines and monkeys, Australian dingo dogs, brown bears and also rare red pandas live here. Children will be fascinated by the cute Shetland pony, and lovers of felines will surely melt over the leopards.
