The most beautiful Czech zoological gardens - part four

We have imagined the biggest and most visited zoos in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia so far. But we are still not done, because some others also deserve to be mentioned. Therefore, the series does not end yet, today we will look at Vlašimi or Vyškov, for example. So hooray for a trip, maybe we can still make it ZOO Plasy and more!

Vyškov Zoo

Seven hectares and over five hundred different animals. Founded in August 1965. They live here for example lemur kata, dog raccoon or buffaloes and camels. The children, to whom Grandma's backyard is open, will have a lot of fun here - especially for urban types, it will be a downright attractive spectacle. The modernized grounds also offer views of the Nanda bird, turtles and golden pheasants. In 2006, Zoopark Vyškov merged with DinoPark, making it perhaps the most visited South Moravian attraction by visitors.

Less than one hectare of area and "only" 72 animal species. It's not enough? But not at all the atmosphere of the chamber ZOO suits Chlebům. The zoo was founded in 1997 and specializes in rare species from the bird kingdom. Visitors can experience the feeding of wild animals first-hand, or perhaps let themselves be immortalized in a moment with an Ara parrot.

Parazoo Vlasim

Six years of the existence of a rescue station for a number of animals. Sure, it's not quite a "real" ZOO, but it's definitely worth a visit. Lose a lynx, otter or great horned owl? That would be a shame, visitors will also be welcomed by birdhouses and, among other things, interesting stories of local animals. Only those who, for various reasons, can no longer go into the wild live here. Their health is not good for them or they simply wouldn't survive here. The transport accessibility of Vlašimi, the crossroads of several major roads, is very good - so why not visit here in the summer with children, right?

ZOO Plasy

The tiny zoo, which was established only two years ago, currently houses over fifty different species of animals. Swamp cats, macaques, parrots and several rare specimens of fish live here. The ZOO in Plasy near Pilsen focuses mainly on birds, in addition to several species of parrots, swans, owls and eagle owls live here.

This lesser-known zoo is located about three kilometers from Hradec Králové, will impress you at first glance with its family atmosphere and is spread over approximately two hectares. What else can we say about him? There are mainly parrots in breeding, but also American cougar, llama alpaca and of course the red kangaroo. Animals from South America or Australia are already waiting for you...

So what do you think, is it interesting? Does that sound really good? Then take a weekend trip with the children, because the animals can be seen all the time! You can combine the weekend with something else, maybe some natural sites?
