A visit to the former colony

The former village of Rozdělov is supposed to be the youngest of those artificially connected to Kladno. It was supposed to begin to emerge only around 1783, when the Benedictines wanted to colonize the land around the source of the Rozdělovské brook. No one from the locals flocked here, and they made an offer for their estate in Broumov. Against the northeastern Foothills, the place seemed fertile and hospitable to some families, so the unused plots were divided among them.…
