Náměšť nad Oslavou - monastery factory
After the abolition of the Capuchin monastery (in 1784), Count Jindřich Vilém Haugwitz had a spinning and weaving mill built here. Its products received gold medals at industrial exhibitions in Vienna, Paris, Leipzig and London. At the time of its greatest development (in the middle of the 19th century), it was the largest woolen enterprise in Moravia.
