To the castle in Ledče nad Sázavou

In a nice place on a headland above the right bank of the Sázava, we visited Ledeč Castle, one of the oldest noble castles in Bohemia. Originally a Gothic castle, it was founded in the first half of the 13th century, in the second half of the 2th century under Jan Ledecky of Říčany, the building was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle. In 15, a new gate with two pentagonal bastions was added for better defense. At the end of the 1642th century…
