Only two, albeit long-term, visits to Týn nad Bečvou were enough for Bedřich Smetan to have the municipality establish a museum for this important music composer in 2015. It is located in the center of the village in a nicely renovated building of the former manor brewery in Bedřich Smetana's Návsa.
