The building was created by the reconstruction of the old city crematorium at the Mosteck cemetery. This building dates from 1923 - 1924 and was built by Ing. by Antonín Svítil according to the plans of Viennese architect August Kirstein. The object is attributed (in the floor plan layout) a similarity with the construction of the Bremen crematorium according to the design of the architect HW Behrens.
