Molitorov

A village with a castle approx. 1,5 km from Kouřimi. The village and castle are named after Jiří Molitor from Müllfeld. In his property, it is remembered as a yard with a residential building. It was probably converted into a castle at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries under the ownership of Count Cavriani or his descendants. In 1838, the farm and castle were bought by the Veselý family, who had it rebuilt according to the plans of Dušan Jurkovič at the beginning of the 20th century.
