This beautiful three-trunk deciduous larch stands above the road at the eastern edge of the national nature reserve Habrůvecká bučina on the cadastre of Habrůvka village in the Moravian Karst PLA. Together with several other larch trees in the vicinity, this is a remnant of a roughly 200-year-old harvested stand. Larch began to be grown here after 1770, when the crossbreeding of Alpine and Sudeten larch gave rise to a local population...
