Modrava

The village and recreation center of Modrava is located at an altitude of 980 m above sea level in a valley at the confluence of the Modravské, Roklanské and Filipohuťské creeks. It is located in the Klatovy district about 20 km west of Vimperk.
Originally, a lumber settlement was founded here in 1737. In the deep forests in the vicinity, intensive logging began at the end of the 18th century.
