The Monk's Stone

The monk's stone is a relatively large rock on the hillside of Biskupská kupa. The whole system of rocks reaches a length of about 200m, including the outcrops of other smaller rocks. You can't miss it when climbing from the Golden Mountains to the green TZ along the western part of the mountain. It is also easily accessible from the switchback on the Zlaté Hory – Petrovice road. The rocks have a pyramidal shape and may have reminded someone of a monk's hood. However, the name can be completely different...
