Mladá Vožice – Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Way of the Cross

Mladá Vožice is a town in the Tábor district, from which it is about 17 km away. The river Blanice and Novoveský potok flow here.
 
A royal castle once stood on the hill above the town (495 masl), but it did not survive the Hussite wars. In 1425 it was demolished. Today, in its place is the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which was built on an oval plan in 1646 by the holder of the Vožice manor, Krištof Karel Přehořovský...
