Mladá Boleslav - castle and Mladoboleslavska Museum
The indisputable dominant feature of the central Bohemian city of Mladá Boleslav is undoubtedly the local Gothic-Renaissance castle. If only because it rises on a rock promontory almost directly in its historic center. The predecessor of this castle was a Slavic fortress founded by prince Boleslav II. sometime in the late 10th century.
