Northwest of the village of Milín in the locality of Slivice there is a memorial site,
where the last combat operation of World War II in Europe took place.
On May 9 - 11, 1945, there was a clash between Red Army troops and local
partisan units with a group of German SS troops. Today this place
where 60 people lost their lives, the memorial reminds. The road leads to the Memorial, there is a place
accessible by car.
