Mikulov - town and castle 2007

   The charming South Moravian town of Mikulov with a valuable historical core lies on the last spurs of the Pálavské vrchy, and its lowest edge almost touches the border with our southern neighbor. The city monument zone is overseen from one side by the castle, a distinctive urban landmark, which, like the mythical Phoenix bird, rose from the ashes after years of repairs - it burned down at the end of World War II.
