Mikulov - Pomona fountain

Around the year 1700, a fountain in the shape of a stone polygonal tank with a prismatic pillar with a spout in the middle was installed in the upper part of the square. At that time, it served as a source of water for the population of the inner part of the city. On the pillar of the fountain is an allegorical statue of Pomona with a cornucopia and a shield with the family coat of arms of the Dietrichsteins.
