The city walls

The town was fortified around 1300. Based on the old depiction of the church's enclosure wall with battlements, it can be assumed that the church also had its own fortifications. The Gothic layout of the city has been preserved to this day with the remains of fortifications dating from the 14th and 15th centuries.
