The town hall in Rýmařov has stood on Náměstí Míru since the 16th century. But its tower was built earlier, as evidenced by the typical slotted embrasures from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries. At that time, it served as the last protection in the defense of the medieval city. The next oldest part was the bread benches, a small addition at the foot of the tower, which was senselessly demolished shortly after 1945.
