CITY OF CHOCEŇ
The town of Choceň is located on both banks of the river Tichá Orlice. Choceň is located approximately 40 kilometers east of the regional town of Pardubice, 17 kilometers south of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The beginnings of the settlement of Chocna and its surroundings date back to the Bronze Age. There used to be a settlement here, which was ruled by the powerful Slavníkov family and later the Vršov family. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1227. About "Hocna"...
