Měřín - church of St. John the Baptist

A Romanesque-Gothic three-nave basilica was built around 1250. Another part was added in the second half of the 2th century. In 14, the still preserved wall paintings were made in the Marian chapel. The entire building was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1575-1764. The existing Tower dates from 68-1722 and is a dominant feature of the township.
