Medlánecká Rock - a natural monument
The site is located in the northern part of Brno, in the Medlánky district, on a north-facing slope above Turistická Street. The protected area has a total area of 0,34 ha and was declared a natural monument in 1999. It consists of an abandoned quarry, grassy slopes on the sides of the quarry and a summit plateau located above it. The geological bedrock is Brno igneous rock. Mining activity in the quarry was…
