In the Moravian-Silesian region, the Poodří-Moravská brána region, there is a small area - the Meanders of the Old Odra. Its altitude is approx. 255 m and it is a protected nature reserve that is part of the Poodří PLA. It is separated from the village of Jeseník nad Odrou by the Jesenický pond and the Odra river, which flows here with the Luha river.
