Maršov u Úpica
The name of the village is said to have originally originated from the personal name Marek (Mareš). The village was most likely founded in the 13th century according to German law and originally belonged to the Wiesburg estate. The founder became a magistrate and enjoyed special benefits. He had a farm called "Rychta" (No. 37) and was free of laborers, which also passed on to his successors ("freemen"), who brought only salt and wine for the lord and were paid for that.…
