Marian column in Kojetín

The Baroque 10,7 m tall Marian column with a statue of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary standing on the square in Kojetín was built in 1704 - 1705 by Johanes Kulhan, a burgher of Kojetín. From an iconographic point of view, the Marian column is called the plague column. The column is complemented by two sculptures of saints, the statue of St. Florian and St. Vendelín from 1747. In 1996, the baroque column was restored.
