Marian Column
The Marian column stands on Mírové náměstí in Broumov. The Marian column in Broumov was built in 1706 by J. Brokoff. The column stands on a 2,8 m high base. It is carved from a single piece of stone. In the lower part, in the niches, there are statues of St. Scholasticism, vol. Benedict, St. Vintíre and St. Procopius. Above each of the statues is an angel with a shield and an inscription that together reads: "IN GLORIAM /ET HONOREM /SANCTAE ...
