Mariánské náměstí

The dominant building of the entire area is the New Town Hall - City Hall. of the city of Prague (no. 2/2), since 1945 the seat of the mayor and the seat of the authorities, which were moved here after the destruction of the main wing of the Old Town Hall in May 1945. The building was built between 1908 and 1911 and is the work of the architect Osvalad Polívka. Sculptors Stanislav Sucharda, Josef Mařatka and Ladislav Šaloun took part in the decoration.…
