Malát's monument

Under the official designation Malát's monument, there is a monument to the composer Jan Malát, who worked as a teacher in Hořice between 1866 and 1876. The monument is located on the north side of Hořické Chlum, in Dachovy, where the composer stayed during the summer. The author of the monument is the sculptor Karel Samojed, it was unveiled in 1932.
