Lužice is a large wine and fruit growing village with 2750 inhabitants and can be found in the southwest direction near the town of Hodonín. The village is located on the right bank of the Kyjovka river. To the north of the village is a system of several ponds. Near the southwestern edge of the village are oil and gas drilling rigs.
