Loštice - classicist synagogue

The Jewish synagogue in Loštice was built in the years 1805-1806 in its current, i.e. classical, form and is located in the western part of this town. Its current expanded form replaced the original wooden structure, dating from around 1560. The construction of the new synagogue began in 1651 and was completed with the extension of the northern living tract for the clergy. At the current location it stands…
