Horní Cerekev Quarry

The quarry is located on the northern edge of Horní Cerekva, next to the train station, towards Telč (on the right). The quarry is hidden behind an artificial embankment, so it is not visible from the road. There is nice swimming in year-round clear water. The quarry reaches a maximum depth of 22 meters, approximately half of the area is at a depth of 13 meters with a sandy bottom. The quarry is stocked (perch, whiting, carp, catfish, eel, sturgeon). The divers have their base here and have also built stairs down to the water and a pier at the surface. The parking lot is located at the southern part of the quarry.
