Loděnice - village and former castle, now monastery of St. Václav and Ludmila

We are slowly moving from Beroun to Prague. We don't drive on the highway, so we drive through Loděnice, past an interesting building. The shipyards are located in the Křivoklátská vrchovina right at the 10th exit from the Pilsen - Prague highway, approx. 8 km northeast of Beroun. A stream of the same name flows through the village, which all the locals call Kačák.
The first written mention is from January 23, 1179 - on this day a battle took place nearby...
