Litovel Gymnasium

 
The plan to establish a gymnasium in Litovla was created more than 120 years ago. According to the design of the architect Josef Bertl, a magnificent Neo-Renaissance school building was built on the bank of the Uničovský pond. At first it functioned as a lower Czech real school, two years later it was upgraded by the ministry to a higher real school, and before long students were sweating in it even during their first matriculation exams.
