LIPOVEC LICOMÈŘICE URANÝ MINE
In the years 1968-82, uranium was mined just above the village (480 tons were mined). To this day, the mining site is undermined, one of the wells, which reaches a depth of over 200 meters, is concreted and marked with a board with technical data. There were 2 pits (including 1 blind), 1 tunnel and 9 km of horizontal mine shafts. The area of the mining area was 0,348 km2. A total of 383,3 t of uranium was mined.
