Libotov - chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows

Libotov – a village about 3 km south of Dvor Králové behind Hřibojedský vrch. The first written mention of the village is from 1289. The most important monument in the village is the Chapel of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, but its condition is not the best. In front of the chapel there is a metal cross with the year 1857 and a German text, which proves the significant German settlement. Before the Second World War, there were only 2 Czech families out of about 450 inhabitants.…
