Libochovice
The town of Libochovice, located on the Ohři River on the edge of the Český Středohoří, is first mentioned in writing in the 13th century, when it belonged to the Premonstratensian monastery in Teplá. In the 14th century, a Gothic fortress was built by the Zajíc family from Hazmburk on an elevated spot above the river, which probably suffered greatly during the Hussite wars, when the town was burned by Jan Žižka's army.
