Libochovice is located in West Bohemia, northwest of the town of Louny. The town is located on the border between Český středohoří and Dolnooharská tabula. The river Ohře flows through the southern edge of the city and the Dolní poohří nature park stretches around it. There are several hop farms and fruit orchards in the immediate vicinity of the city.
