Liberec - department store Brouk + Babka

The Brouk + Babka department store is one of the leading monuments of interwar functionalist architecture in Czechoslovakia. The six-story building in Pražská Street was designed in 1936 by architect and Devětsil member Jan Gillar. The facade of the department store is entirely glazed and the entrance is tucked behind display cases. After the war, it was renamed OD Jiskra.
