Forest quarry in Líšno
During walks in the northern surroundings of Brno, in the immediate vicinity of the Hády hill, you will find a huge, currently abandoned limestone quarry. Its total area is almost 50 hectares and it is already heavily overgrown with invasive trees, since mining in it was stopped at the end of 1997.
