Forest Kingdom
Between 1910 and 1919, the Les Království Dam was built on the Elbe near the town of Bílá Třemešná. The dam is also known by the name Bílá Třemešná, but a few years ago it was returned to its original name Les Královstvi. The impetus for the construction, as with many others, was a catastrophic flood in July 1897. 330 m3/s flowed through the river at the site of the dam profile, which was close to a century's worth of water.
