A picturesque Šumava town at the confluence of the Řasnice and Tepla Vltava near Volar. Near the glass factory, founded in 1834 by Jan Meyer, a settlement named Eleonorenhain (Eleonore's grove) was created, after Princess Eleonora of Schwarzenberg, wife of the owner of the surrounding forests, Jan Adolf II. Currently, here you can find the Český kríšťál glass factory and the Museum of Glass, open to the public all year round.
