Lednice-Lovecký castle

The hunting castle in Lednice is located in a landscape park, about 2,5 km east of the castle. The classicist single-storey building with arcades and a loggia on the first floor with Tuscan columns on prismatic bases was designed by the architect JL Hardtmuth and commissioned by the Lichtensteins in 1810-1811. The castle served as a game lodge, and from the terrace the guests watched the hunts and game drives. Central room upstairs later…
