Ledeč nad Sázavou - Jewish synagogue

The beginning of Jewish settlement in Ledč nad Sázavou dates back to the beginning of the Renaissance in Bohemia, i.e. to the 16th century. The synagogue was built in the Jewish ghetto in 1606. Later, this building burned down, so a new synagogue was built, which has survived to the present day. Its original form can be called the rural baroque style and dates from 1729.
