Spa Libverda, monument to Prince Karl.

The monument was built in 1802 by Count Kristián Filip Clam – Gallas. The ceremonial unveiling took place on July 31, 1802. Prince Karel was the governor of Bohemia from 1798. His victories at Amberk and Würzburg over the French troops were considered to prevent the advance of the French into Czech territory. The prince was then celebrated as the savior of Bohemia.
