Lanškrounské rybníky
The Lanškroun ponds form a system of ponds stretching northwest from Lanškroun to the southeast end of the village of Ostrov. The oldest report on the beginnings of pond farming in Lanškroun dates from 1433. Just before 1464, the then owner of the manor Z Kostka from Postupice built the current Dlouhý rybník.
